What is sun printing?

Cyanotype, or sun printing is an alternative photography technique that originated in the 19th century. Cyanotype is composed of two chemicals that when mixed together become light sensitive and can be used to coat paper, fabric or any other porous material. The sun print (cyanotype) is then created by exposing some areas of the coated material and hiding others.
